I've spent most of my working life building software for other people's roadmaps. This site is the opposite: nothing here has a roadmap, a funding round, or a growth target. It exists because a thing annoyed me and I fixed it for myself.
What's on this site
- Mini projects — 6 small tools, each with a page explaining what it does and what it got wrong
- Blog — 6 essays on craft, naming, and keeping a project small
- Photos — a rolling journal, mostly film, mostly outdoors
How I work
Small, finished, and boring on purpose. I'd rather ship one tool that does a single job well than a platform with a feature list. Most of what's here took a weekend, and the ones that took longer were usually the ones I later archived.
A tool earns its place by being the one you open when you're in a hurry.
Say hello
Questions about a project, a photo, or a piece of writing are all welcome — the fastest way to reach me is email, and I read everything that arrives.
